Wheatcroft

Wheatcroft Property

On October 3, 2022, Jayden resources entered into a purchase and sale agreement with Kenorland Minerals North America Ltd. The agreement was to purchase 100% interest in Kenorland’s Wheatcroft project located in the Kisseynew Domain in Northwestern Manitoba.

The Wheatcroft project covers 97,501 hectares and 35 km of strike length along the Northern margin of the Kisseynew Gneiss Belt (KGB) in Northern Manitoba. The geological setting in this area is similar to the Southern margin of the KGB which hosts Puffy Lake and Nokomis in the Sherridon district. The Sherridon district is known for its orogenic Au-style deposits. The Northern margin of the KGB remains under-explored and prospective for similar type orogenic style mineralization.

Historical drilling in the project has focused mostly on base metal-style mineralization.  The Geological Survey of Canada conducted regional till geochemical surveys in the area between 1983 and 1988, which showed a significant coincident gold and arsenic in till anomaly. With the coarse spacing of regional till geochemistry, limited follow-up of the AU potential at the transitional volcanics, and an absence of systematic work further South, the project represents a strong opportunity for discovery with modern exploration methods.

Approximately 2,500 till samples have been planned to be collected in Fall 2022 for geochemical analysis. The approximate spacing will be 200m x 800m for geochemical analysis at an approximate space of 200m.
