Storm Lake

Storm Lake Property

On February 17, 2021, Jayden entered into a property option agreement to acquire a 100% interest in the Storm Lake gold property located on the Frotet-Evans Greenstone Belt in central Quebec, approximately 150km northeast of the town of Matagami.

Storm Lake consists of 48 contiguous claims that cover a gross area of approximately 2,610 hectares. Previous exploration on the property from various other companies includes 49 drill holes totaling 9,600 meters and 8 showings (7 Gold and 1 Silver).

The Frotet-Evans Greenstone Belt also hosts the former Troilus Mine. During its mine life from 1996 to 2010 more than 2.0 million ounces of gold and nearly 70,000 tons of copper were produced (Troilus Gold Corporate Presentation – Feb. 2021 – www.troilusgold.com). New discoveries by Troilus Gold Corp. (TSX:TLG) have them focused on mineral expansion (4.96Moz AuEq indicated plus 3.15Moz AuEq inferred – Troilus Gold Corporate Presentation – Feb. 2021) and the potential restart of the former mine.

Pursuant to a NI43-101 Technical Report on Storm Lake dated August 25, 2021, a 2-Phase exploration program was recommended estimated to cost $2.7M, including various ground surveys and a property wide exploration drill program.

Jayden recently completed the Phase I work and plans to complete a minimum 5,000 meter diamond drill program in the fall of 2021. Click here for a map showing the location of the proposed drill holes for the 2021 program.
